KuneKune

Origination from New Zealand. The native Māori people of New Zealand adopted Kune kune(cooney cooney); Kune kune is a Māori-language word meaning "fat and round". I picked this breed because they are suppose to be docile and friendly. They are also smaller and can be raised mostly on pasture with limited need for supplemental feeding.

Maui and Moana

The barn cats are still hard for us. The idea of having random cats living in your barn and reproducing into infinity does not feel right. Yet if we sterilized every cat born in the barn we would be broke right out of the gate. So we have had 2 litters now. The first litter we were able to catch 2 of them. Maui had quite the start, botfly and all.

Goats for giggles

We have no real reason for the goats. They are cute and funny. We feed them. They entertain us.

Mangalitza

Affectionally known around the farm as the fuzzy pigs. We added these to the mix for 2 reasons. They are cute #1. They are also meatier than the Kune kune so we thought to mix the 2 would be good for the end result of butcher hogs.
