WE BELIEVE IN LOVE.
Love for fresh, nutritious food.
The kind of food we would like to eat, or give our loved ones.
We believe that when you give with all your heart, create with all your passion, without harming the environment and those above it you get the best result.
Our Story
If you would of told me when I was 20 that at 43 I would be attempting to become a farmer I would of laughed you out of the room.
What was, a couple of RN's and their kids living the dream in the outskirts of suburbia, has become a couple moms trying to bring a farm back to life while working their real jobs as RN's.
The boys
Today the littles are 13 and 9. I say the littles because we also have three adult children. At this point the older kids have been happily and successfully adulting for a few years now.
As a family we are fascinated with many things. One of the things we can agree on is science. So what a better way to learn about the science of life than on a farm.
Fuzz
Fuzz is 14 going on 30. since birth we have called him wise beyond his years. Fuzz has always loved pigs. When discussing the finer points of moving out to a farm he was excited to get started with his very own pig.
Fuzz is also interested in conservation, trying to reverse climate change, the destruction of the rain forest, pollution in the ocean etc. etc. etc. He wants to be involved in helping us turn our little corner of this earth into the smallest carbon footprint we can manage. He is interested in wind and solar energy and how we can utilize it on our pursuit towards sustainable farming.
Stu
Stu is 9 he loves to run, create garbage, ride his bike, help with digging and picking veggies. If it can release energy into the world and or make a mess he is there. He is the egg collector, the animal feeder and general errand boy. He is interested in horses, although I am not, and begs to have one of his own someday.
Kindhearted, sweet, sensitive and the most caring boy I know. Stu will drive you insane with his questions while bringing you a bottle of water you didn't ask for because he thinks you look thirsty. He also loves to drive the tractor and is already trying to take over mowing the lawn.
